Why we exist
“Everyone deserves the chance to heal.”
My name is Rolando Heredia-Bustos, founder of What Atlanta Gives.
In 2021, I went through one of the hardest moments of my life. I survived a suicide attempt, and in the long days of recovery that followed, something in me shifted. I made a commitment to get better, and to help others do the same.

What we do
Evidence-based initiatives that put prevention skills directly into the hands of coaches, schools, and everyday community members.

Featured Initiative
A growing network of vetted Atlanta therapists, counselors, nutritionists, and fitness providers giving a free first session to anyone WAG refers — because cost is the #1 barrier to first-time help-seeking.
